In this workshop, we will explore the Seichō Yosakoi Naruko Odori together, the traditional foundational dance of Yosakoi.

Yosakoi is shaped by creative and freely designed choreography. One important element is that part of the original Yosakoi melody must be retained. Together with the participants, we will return to the roots of this lively Japanese dance style, learn its basic movements and dance with the characteristic wooden Naruko clappers.

No previous experience is required. All you need is an enjoyment of movement, rhythm and dancing together.
